Tosca Schift (1995) is born in Enschede, The Netherlands and based in Amsterdam.
Her practice holds space between The Netherlands, The Dutch East Indies and the Indonesian Archipelago.

Artistic practice

2025 - now, practice as visual artist
2019 - 2024, Part of the artist duo ANT EYE www.anteye.land

Between 2019 and 2024, Tosca Schift was part of the artist duo ANT EYE, which she formed together with Hanneke Klaver. Their collaborative practice operated at the intersection of design, performance and film. From 2023 to 2025, Schift deepened her practice at the Master of Film - Artistic Research in and Through Cinema. Here, she developed new working methods and approaches towards expanded cinema, the sensorial and visceral experience of audiovisual material, a critical reading of images and the camera as a tool of enquiry. Since 2025, Schift has a solo practice as visual artist. Alongside her practice, she teaches foundations of object making in the Art & Design department at ArtEZ in Arnhem, The Netherlands.
